wondering why i keep moving

while my country is at war
in the summer of this year
i battle it out in my head
for i need loving lessons
and kissing connections
and i need world ignition

while my country is at war
in the summer of this year
i battle it out in my head
for i need loving lessons
and kissing connections
and i need world ignition
and oily sex and
i need tasting sessions on body;
i need night skies
and lifetimes on orange light nights
on the north coast
when all is enclosed
with bliss of TV and pizza
but such a night as that one
will never happen again
because i have disappeared,
gotten lost in small movements
and the need to always
be somewhere else
when i am dying
just to stay still
for long enough
to find stillness
and make the space in me
silent enough to sleep
